    • INDIE Certificate was rolled out in February ‘09 by an enterprising group of BIS 2 students. By returning to their schools to provide short courses to Transition Year students in web development and Internet technologies, these students have endeavoured to communicate the importance of technology in society. "BIS commends this group of volunteers on their initiative, community spirit and enterprise".

    The INDIE certificate is based on HTML web development and students use basic scripts like notepad. Also we introduce Transition years students to the concept of Internet Awareness by teaching them about the existance of malicious software that is in existance.We show and discuss current events such as Computer Hacking Crimes and safety, that are in the recent news.
